Stacy, Robert


Robert Ephram Stacy, 83, former home builder and carpenter, and husband of Allene Crouch Stacy, died Sunday, May 16, 2004. Born in Richmond, KY, he was a son of the late Charles and Eula Richardson Stacy. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was an Army veteran WW II, receiving two Purple Hearts. In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by three sons and a daughter, Robert W. (Karen) Stacy, Nicholasville, Jim (Maria) Stacy, Sandy (Steve) Honican and Ed (Linda) Stacy, all of Lexington; three brothers and a sister, Elden Stacy and Leo Stacy, both of Berea, Virginia Blanton, Richmond, and A.J. Stacy, Nicholasville; nine grandchildren, Robby Stacy, Melissa Seater, Stephanie Parker and Christy Honican, Corey Stacy, Shawn Stacy, Michael Stacy, Katina May and Jimmy Anderkin; and eight great grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Southland, conducted by Rev. Bill Miller. Entombment will follow at the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County.
