Richard Wayne Smith

Richard Wayne Smith, 45, of Seven Mile, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Born on July 20, 1958, in Richmond, Ky., he is the son of Rodney and Gayla (Perry) Smith. In Jacksonburg, Ohio, on Oct. 14, 1978, Richard married Margaret McRoberts. He was employed at General Motors in Moraine as a millwright apprentice. Richard was a member of the Jacksonburg United Methodist Church and the Edgewood Quarterback Club. He was a 4H advisor and a part-time farmer.

Richard is survived by his wife, Margaret of Seven Mile; sons Chad Smith of Seven Mile, Travis Smith, and his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Colten Smith, of Trenton, and Cory Smith of Seven Mile; a brother, Derrick Smith; a sister, Toni Truster, and her husband, Eddie, all of Jacksonburg; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rena Smith.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, 2003. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
