Christine Seals

Christine Seals, age 77, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise on Sunday, June 15, 2003, at 3:30 p.m. She was born in Madison County, Kentucky, on July 29, 1925, the daughter of Otis and Virgil (Jones) Scenters. Christine was employed as a deli clerk at Marsh Supermarket for 10 years, retiring in 2003. In 1945, in Jackson County, Kentucky, she married Raymond Seals who preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by one son, Tony Seals and his wife Teresa of Hamilton; one sister, Mabel Alexander and her husband Willard of Big Hill, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Stephene, Kevin, and Brian Seals, Lisa Parker, Mindy Monahan and Stanley Johnson; nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Colan Seals; daughter, Patty Seals; and brother, Clay "Red" Scenters.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, June 19, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Zeller, Pastor of Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
