Alberta Roe, 73, of Trent Boulevard, Lexington, Kentucky passed away Friday October 3, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. She was a native of Estill County and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Millard (Maggie Arvin) Johnson. Mrs. Roe was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her two brothers Freddie Johnson and Hugh Johnson.

and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers will be Austin Grant, Wayne Grant, Scott Grant, Lewis Grant, Daniel Delaney, and Franklin Tipton.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday October 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend Virgle Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 2:00 Sunday October 5, 2003 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent the Kidney Foundation of Kentucky.
