ROBINSON, Lewis E. LANCASTER - Services for Lewis E.
Robinson, 88, of Hillcrest Avenue, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ramsey Funeral
Home by the Revs. Bob Rush and Bill Hawkins. Burial will be in Lancaster
Cemetery. He died Monday at Garrard County
Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 28, 1910, in Berea, he was
a son of the late Caleb and Bessie Smith Robinson. He was a retired Kentucky
Utilities Co. employee, a member of Lancaster Baptist Church and a 50-year
member of Odd Fellows Lodge (Franklin Lodge 7). Survivors include his wife, Hazel
Smith Robinson of Lancaster; a daughter, Gloria Candler of Lancaster; a son,
Eddie L. Robinson of Lexington; a brother, Virgil Robinson of Garrard County;
five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gerald Kirk, Greg
and Doug Robinson, Richard Smith and Richard Stanley. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday. |
