MOBERLEY, Glenn

Glenn Moberley, 79, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital where he had been a patient for two days.

He was born on Sept. 6, 1924, in Richmond, Ky., and lived in Ohio since 1957. He was a blacksmith for 50 years, retiring in 1995.

Mr. Moberley was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Bessie (Griggs) Moberley.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beulah Moberley; two stepdaughters, Delores McQueen, and her husband, Paul, of Williamsburg, Ind., and Donna Rae Deaton, and husband, Jerry, Centerville, Ind.; a stepson, Carol Eugene Chasteen, and wife, Jeannie, of Richmond, Ind.; 10 step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ila Marie Tudor of Lexington, Ky., Mildred Turner of Richmond, Ky., and Janie Sidwell of North Carolina; and two brothers, John Moberley and Bobby T. Moberley, both of Richmond, Ky.
 

Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the funeral home, with Pastor David McQueen officiating. Interment will be at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, Ohio.
