HARRODSBURG - Jerry
McCoy, 76, Elmwood Drive, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical
Center. Born Jan 5, 1925, in
Madison County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Mattie Farthington McCoy.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Salvisa Christian Church. He was a
former employee of state Transportation Cabinet, roadside division, and an Army
veteran of World War II. Survivors include his
wife, Peggy Taylor McCoy; a son, Jerry C. McCoy of Harrodsburg; a sister,
Mildred Hampton of Hamilton, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Cleo Goodlett and Elwood Norton. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. |
