Larry Lakes age 48 of Wilson Lane in Berea, passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2003 at his home.

Larry was born in Berea, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Zilphia Ferguson Lakes. Larry was currently employed by Equity One as the Assistant Vice President of Kentucky. He was also a member of the Richmond House of Prayer.

He is survived by his two children Tara (Johnny) Bryant of Crab Orchard and Shannon (Michelle Miller) Lakes of Berea; three brothers Jimmy (Barbara) Lakes of Berea, Bradley (Regina) Lakes of Alabama and Kenneth (Joann) Lakes of Somerset; and the mother of his children Jackie Thacker Lakes of Berea.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one sister Carol Harrison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Owen Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Stringtown Cemetery in Crab Orchard. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Lakes, Michael Thacker, Shannon Young, Keith Richmond, Jeremy Powell and Chris Hembree.
