Donald Nelson Jackson age 69 of Jonanc Drive in Berea, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Donald was currently employed with the Bluegrass Army Depot in Richmond. He previously had a career in the U.S. Air Force where he was a crew chief in Alaska, Germany and Cuba and worked in communications in Vietnam. He retired as a Master Sergeant. Donald had two Master degrees, one from Louisiana State University and the other from Florida State University, while pursing his education in Florida he also worked for NASA.

In addition to being a veteran, he was a member of the Silver Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Berea Masonic Lodge #617 F&AM.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Jackson; two sons Gregory W. Brock and Robert W. Brock of Stanton; and one brother Myles Jackson and his wife Elaine of Virginia.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the Silver Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Rendleman officiating.
