Gordon,
Lillie Agnes Martin, 101, fondly known as “ Miss Lillie”, died Sunday, February
29,2004 at the Richmond Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired
employee of the University of Kentucky Donovan Cafeteria, born in Junction City,
Kentucky daughter of the late Morris and Odelia Bernard Martin and she was the
oldest living member of Rosemont Baptist Church in Lexington. Surviving are one
son, George Edward Gordon [Wanda], Richmond, Kentucky, three daughters, Esther
Gordon Williams and Nevelyn Gordon Foley both of Lexington, and Lillian Gordon
Covington, Riverside, California, half-brother, Morris Martin, half-sister,
Christine Martin Young both of Junction City, seven grandchildren, eleven great
grandchildren and one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday at the W.R.Milward
Mortuary-Southland conducted by Dr. C. Gilbert Tucker with burial in Blue Grass
Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County. Friends may call 5-9 P.M. Wednesday.
