Geneva Ford, 86, formally of Fike Road, Widow of Elkin Ford passed away Monday July 14, 2003 at the Berea Health Center. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Peyton and Beulah Hendren Cain. She was a retired school cook at the Waco School and a member of the Bybee Methodist Church. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 brothers, Charles, Asa, Lyle, Bernard, 2 Sisters Gldie and Lela.

 

Mrs. Ford was survived by

Son- Ronald (Linda S.) Ford of Somerset

Grandson- Ronald Thomas Ford of Tampa Flordia

4 sisters- Thelma Webb, Lois Arthur of of Richmond

Jean Mitchell of Laurenceville, GA

Darlene Sterrette Grand Bay , Al.

and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services for Geneva Ford will be conducted Friday July 18, 2003 at 11:00 am at the Turpin Funeral Home with Brother Bill Marrow and Brother Joe Atlman officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 Pm at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Richard Fox, Jimmy McKinney, David Richardson, Lester Anglin, David Pusey, Jim Harrison and Charles Rupard. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Arthur, Eugene Turner, Harold Gibson Rise, Elmo Dennis, and Walter Lee Cornelison.

 

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gideone Memorial Bibly Program or the Parkinsons Foundation.
