Virginia McKinney Forbes,84,widow of Howard Forbes died Friday at Sayre Christian Village Nursing Home, Lexington, KY.

She was a native of Madison County,the daughter of the late George and Cleva Dunn McKinney.She had been a beautician for over 50 years and was a member of the Union City Christian Church. She was preceded in death by a grandaughter,Kathy Forbes. Survivors include one son,George(Phyllis)Forbes of Lexington,one grandson,Bryan(Rosa)Forbes of Kettering, Ohio, and a niece, Karen Woolum of Richmond, KY. Funeral service will be 11:00A.M.Tuesday 07/15/03 at Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend David Welsh officiating with burial in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Monday 07/14/03 at Turpin Funeral Home.
