Lewis “Tom” Davis age 92 of Hwy. 1016 Berea died Sunday Sept. 26, 2004 at his home. Tom was a farmer, stone mason, Kentucky Colonel and was member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Berea. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Annie Lewis Davis, 2 brothers Ikey and Ben Davis, and 2 sisters Grace Davis Goodrich and Allie Davis Kindred.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Florence Murphy Davis of Berea. Special nephews Bruce and Tommy Davis and nieces Jessica and Elaine Davis. And many more nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be Wednesday Sept. 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Davis, Kenton Davis, Bruce Davis, Ben Davis, Brandon Davis and Joshua Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Maurice Coyle, Glyndon Williams, Holt Goodrich Jr. Steve Davis, Harold Johnson, Roger Wilson, Charles Rowlette, Floyd Gassett Jr. Buddy Boykin and Travis Davis. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 28, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.
