Thomas Elmo Dalton, 86, of Connersville, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at the Heritage House of Connersville where he had been a patient for the past week.

He was born Nov. 17, 1917, in Laurel County, the child of James P. and Purney Yeary Dalton and was a 1936 graduate of the Red House High School in Madison County.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helena Dalton of Connersville, and a host of other family members.

Funeral services were today at the Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Rev. David Pope, pastor of the Western Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
