COX, Beulah Webb

Beulah Cox, age 91, of Hamilton, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at 11:55 p.m. in Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Richmond, [Madison Ccounty], Kentucky, on December 1, 1912, the daughter of Tom and Nona (Lynch) Webb. She married James D. Cox on December 25, 1930, in Estill County, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1988. She and her late husband were self employed dairy farmers and livestock dealers. She was devoted and dedicated to her family. Beloved “Mama” was always eager to cook for family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Charles V. Cox and wife Nanna B. of Hamilton and Delbert L. Cox and wife Wanda of Shandon; three grandchildren, Roxanne Welsh and husband Randy of Sidney, Ohio, Debbie Earls and husband Mike of Shandon and Jimmy Cox of Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Welsh, Rebecca Welsh, Brandon Cox and Katie Cox and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Arthur Webb and Raymond Webb; one sister, Thelma Montayne and one granddaughter, Joanne Cox.

The family wishes to give special thanks to her team of doctors and nurses at Fort Hamilton Hospital ICU and IMC units.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N.W. Washington Blvd. with Neal Kellam officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to The Family Life Center, in care of Millville Avenue Church of The Nazarene, 308 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
