Almedia Snowden Chamberlain, 76, College Hill Road, Waco, passed away Monday December 8, 2003 at the Patti A. Clay Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Estill County and the daughter of the late Richard and Bertha King Snowden, but had lived in Madison County for most of her life. She was a member of the College Hill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Chamberlain was preceded in death by her husband, David Chamberlain, a sister Imogene Rhodus, and two brothers, Richard L. Snowden and E M Snowden.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Regina (Kennie) Fultz of Union City, Yvonne Evanson of Richmond. Five brothers Shelby (Jenny) Snowden of Cincinnati, OH, Floyd (Mildred) Snowden of Michiganown, IN, Earl Snowden of Birmingham, C.T. "Brownie" Snowden of Lafayette, In, and Bobby R. (Alice) Snowden of Red Lick. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kerrie M. (Brian) Porath of Emmett, ID , Captain Brian D. (Louann) Fultz, US Army, Germany, and Tracey L. Evanson of Waco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 12, 2003 at 1:30 at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend John Savage officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday December 11, 2003 at the Funeral home. Pallbearers will be EM Snowden, Richard Snowden, Michael Young, Kent Young, Jimmy Bertotto, and Gregory Snowden.
