Dec. 5, 1997 LANCASTER - William H.
``Bill'' Casey, 76, died Thursday at Veterans Administration Medical Center. Born May 19, 1921, in
Madison County, he was a son of Farrie Prewitt Casey of Lancaster and the late
Herbert D. Casey. He was a retired farmer and livestock dealer, an Army veteran
of World War II, a member of Disabled American Veterans and Beech Grove Baptist
Church where he was a member of the choir and quintet and a former teacher of
adult Bible classes. Survivors include his
wife, Lorena Sebastian Casey; a daughter, Phyllis Brogli of Lancaster; two
brothers, Everett Casey of Lancaster and L.D. Casey of Lakeland, Fla.; two
granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m.
Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Chandler. Burial will be in
Lancaster Cemetery. |
