Walker “June” Bryant Jr., age 74 of Burdette Street, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Berea Hospital.

June was born in Garrard County, Kentucky to the late Walker and Jennie Roberts Bryant. He was a lifetime member of White Lick Baptist Church where he was former director of the Baptist Men’s Group.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Collins and Etta Mae Conn and seven brothers Frank, Roscoe, Oscar, Charles, Les, Bradley and George T. Bryant.

He is survived by his sister Cora King of Berea and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the White Lick Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home and Friday morning after 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Rodney Renfro, Brian Davis, John Tucker, Steve Bryant, Mark Jennings and Richard Bailey.
