Clay Blakeman, 64, president of the Farmers' bank of Kirksville, died Tuesday at his home at Kirksville. Mr. Blakeman had been officially connected with Farmers' bank either as cashier or president for more than 21 years. He was a member of the Christian church.

Mr. Blakeman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie Cotton Blakeman, two daughters, Mrs. Earl Hendren, Madison Co., and Mrs. Harvey Johnson, Fayette, O., and a brother, Rufus Blakeman, Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the grave in Richmond cemetery. Rev. W. P. Rogers officiating.
