Ester M. Ballard age 86 widow of JC Ballard died Saturday at her home. Ester is the daughter of the late John B. and Emma Barnes Anderson. She is a member of the Hays Fork Baptist Church, a homemaker and worked a short while at Church Hill Weavers.

Ester is survived by her daughter Carol B Neeley of Berea. Sister Sada Powell of Lancaster, Ky. Granddaughter Debbie (Lorenzo) Perez of Richmond and grandson Joe (Cynthia) Neeley of Richmond. 5 Great grandchildren Candace Perez, Loren Perez, Juan Perez, Stacey Evans and David Evans.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Sept. 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jack Anderson, Juan Perez, Charlie Turner, Ron Devere, Hobert Holcomb and Rob Maggard. Visitation will be Monday Sept. 27, 2004 from 6 – 9 p.m. Lakes Funeral Home.
