Nola Medlock Bailey age 77 of Bowman Rd. Berea died Thursday at her home. Nola was Jackson County native and daughter of the late John and Eunice McGeorge Medlock. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nola is retired from Dresser Industries and had been past president of the Union at Dresser. Nola had also been a member of the Annville Baptist Church.

Nola is survived by her 2 children: John and Donna Bailey of Richmond, and Patricia and Allen Brelsford of Baltimore, Maryland. 3 brothers: Jesse Medlock of Sarasota, FL. Thomas Medlock of Lexington and Tony Medlock of Georgetown. 4 grandchildren: John Kendall Bailey, Tonia Bailey, Jonathon Bailey and Dara Brelsford. One great grandson Dylan Waddle. Nola was preceded in death by her son James Carl Bailey, and 5 brothers and a sister: Lee Medlock, Eulene Medlock, Charles Medlock, Gearl Medlock, Estill Medlock, and Jim Medlock.

Funeral services will be Monday July 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Jack Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday July 18, 2004 from 3-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home.
