Reynolds Cemetery
Located at 287 Spencer - Gabbert Lane in Waynesburg, Ky

There are very few headstones that are readable & 20 or 30 graves with fieldstones or unmarked graves (Jerry Leach)

This cemetery is located on 255 acres that was granted to John Singleton by the Lincoln Co. Court in 1803 for settling and improving the vacant land.  John died in 1810 and could possibly be the first burial in the cemetery.  His widow, Mary White Singleton remained on the farm and died ca. 1858.I visited the farm on 27 Nov. 1995 and cut away the bushes and briars and examined every stone I could find. The foot stone marked PMR is the grave of my Great Grandfather Perry M. Reynolds.  The headstone was destroyed when the cemetery was cleared in early 2006.  I have a picture of the headstone. (Foster Reynolds)

The stone for Sally Reynolds is the broken upper half.  She was an unmarried sister of Perry M. Reynolds

The son of Perry M. Reynolds and Susan Alice Woner.  This stone was also broken when the cemetery was cleared.  He was 8 months old.
