Dripping Springs Cemetery
take Hwy 39 north out of Crab Orchard toward Lancaster.  About 3 miles from Crab Orchard, turn right onto Hwy 3246 (Fall Lick Road).  Continue
on Fall Lick Road for approximately 4 or 5 miles until you come to a stop sign just after crossing Fall Lick Creek.  You will see a sign stating "Garrard County".

You will have to turn left or right.  If you turn left and follow the road for about 1/4 mile around a large sweeping curve, you will see the entrance and rock
outcropping of Dripping Springs, where the old hotel once stood.  You may want to get a drink of water from the springs.  To access the Dripping Springs Cemetery,
it is best to turn right after crossing the bridge into Garrard County.  Follow the road about one tenth of a mile as it parallels the creek on the right.  You will see an open field
on your left.  The farm you see on your left is the "Dripping Springs Farm" and is owned by Theatrice Dyehouse Fish.  (My 1st cousin)  She and her now deceased husband,
Birney Fish, bought this farm many years ago.  Pull off to the left into an open gate area and park.  Walk across the field for about 300 yards and enter the woods at the
edge of the field.  You will see a steep bank about 30 feet high that is very difficult to climb.  After climbing to the top of this hillside, the land is very level.
The cemetery is located about 75 yards from the edge of the steep hillside.  It is quite difficult to see because of the large trees and undergrowth.
It hasn't been maintained in many years.  I will be happy to escort anyone
wanting to visit this cemetery if they will let me know in advance.

We now know Rodney Singleton is buried at this cemetery.  He was born 1872 and died 9/23/1893.  I don't know which grave belongs to him.
(I've been looking for his death date for a long time and finally found it.  Maybe this will save someone else a lot of time).  (Shelby Hopkins)
