The image on the top of the stone is very faded now, but it is of two trains crashing on the South Fork trestle.  Roscoe was killed in this train wreck on Halloween night in 1909.  Engine # 725 is still visible on the right hand train.  He was the s/o John C. and Tabitha (Waters) Leach

Here is another interesting detail about this stone.  It shows a dead bird at the foot of a tree.  He was shot and killed on Christmas Day 1900 after being accused of cheating in a poker game.
