Sugar Loaf Graveyard
Located off U.S. 27 South,
Stanford, KY
driveway just north of Neals Creek Rd, Possibly 30 - 40 graves here
David Gambrel talked with Jack
Farmer, grandson of Dink Farmer who is buried here.
He said the family has always referred to this cemetery as the Sugar Loaf
Graveyard.
He noted that Dink Farmer was married four times. His first three wives are
buried next to him in unmarked graves.
Dink's first two wives were sisters, his third wife was Mary Byrd. He married
his 4th wife at age
65,
she was very young and soon left him.
