1. Washington County Historical Society's Genealogy and Historical Library - $3
Contains Indiana and local records, but also maintains data and records from other
states. Types of data included are: family histories, church records, cemetery
records, obituaries, census records, marriage records, newspapers, state and
county histories and antique photographs.
2. Stevens Memorial Museum - $2
Built in 1970 to preserve community history and heritage, is a two-and-one-half
story brick building which features an old-time law and dentist offices, Civil War
mementos, agriculture tools, beautiful furniture, and clothing.
3. Pioneer Village - $2
The village is a replica of an 1830's community featuring a jail, blacksmith, school,
church, smoke house, barn, bell tower, loom house, Post Office and General Store.
4. John Hay House - $2
Built in 1824 and was the birthplace of John Hay, private secretary to President
Abraham Lincoln. He was also an Ambassador to England and Secretary of State
under Presidents McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt.
