Guyanne Allen, 61, of Springfield, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. in Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steven Lee officiating.
Mrs. Allen was born Dec. 5, 1944, in Hyden, Ky., to the late Guy Ingram and Bessie Girkey Cowan.
She was the office manager for Dr. Robert Volosik with 15 years of service.
She was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Sommerset, Ky.
Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Cowan and by her grandchild, Madison Thurston.
Survivors include her husband, Robert ?Bob? Allen Sr., of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rhonda Allen Jr. of Greenbrier; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and William Parker of Murfreesboro, Mylinda and Blake Thurston of Goodlettsville, and Amanda and Chad Justice of Greenbrier; a sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Mike Reichart of Louisville, Ky.; a niece, Emily Reichart of Lexington, Ky.; a nephew, Dr. Ray Cowan of Mountain View, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
