William Cordle Jr. Cemetery |

At the head of Steele Branch, off Brushy, is |
the old Arrington home place. This is the former |
William Cordle, Jr.'s farm. This cemetery is located |
straight across the road from the old farmhouse and |
up a very steep hill. This is a very unusual cemetery, |
as it is marked by seven cut stone obelisks three to |
four feet high. There is only one marked grave in this |
cemetery. |
