William Cordle Jr. Cemetery

At the head of Steele Branch, off Brushy, is

the old Arrington home place.  This is the former

William Cordle, Jr.'s farm.  This cemetery is located

straight across the road from the old farmhouse and

up a very steep hill.  This is a very unusual cemetery,

as it is marked by seven cut stone obelisks three to

four feet high.  There is only one marked grave in this

cemetery.
