June Marlow Adams,
73, of Carter Road, London, Kentucky, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at the
Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born June 1, 1928, in Tennessee, she was a housewife and member of the Sinking
Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise (Chilton) Marlow and Eugene
Marlow; and her husband, Raymond Jack Adams.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Day of Keavy, Kentucky, Marilyn
Rodgers of Greenback, Tennessee, and Brenda Bloemer of Merrit Island, Florida; a
son, Ray Adams of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Gayenelle Sheehan and Katie
Fischer, both of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Robert Marlow of Leitchfield,
Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at the London
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Dotson officiating.
Burial followed in the Dunn Cemetery on Sinking Creek in Laurel County.
Pallbearers were Micah Day, James Brown, Anthony Brown, Scott Brown, Rolfe “Bud”
Bloemer and Dan Hamlin.
