Eddie Ray Hacker, 34, of Lily and formerly of Clay County, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the Berea Hospital. He was a heavy equipment operator and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the son of Geneva Hacker of London, and is survived by his wife, Vernetta Lynn Hacker of London.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 13 at the Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, with burial following at the Cheek Cemetery in Urban, Ky.
