Mrs. Fred Frey Dead
Mrs. Emelia (should be Emilie - psr) Frey wife of Mr. Fred Frey, died at her
home in Pittsburg last Wednesday afternoon of a stroke of apoplexy. Burial was
in the Little grave yard in East Bernstadt Saturday following services conducted
by Rev. Warnike.
Mrs. Frey was a native of Switzerland and at the time of her death was 67 years
and 22 days old. She came to this county forty years ago and has since made this
her home. Besides her husband four sons and five daughters survive. They are
Herman and Arnold Frey of Staunton, Ill, Otto and Alfred Frey and Miss Emily
Frey of Pittsburg, Mesdames. Elise Schott and Minnie Schott of Pittsburg and
Rosa Schott and Mary J. Walters of Staunton, Ill.
