Andrew F. Yaden, 83, of East Laurel Road, London, Kentucky, died Saturday, August 24, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center.


Born August 31, 1918, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was an insurance agent, a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II, and a member of the First Christian Church of London.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Artha Boggs Whitaker and Andrew Jackson Yaden; and his first wife, Annabel Bennett Yaden.


Survivors include his second wife, Beulah Williams Hale Yaden of London, Kentucky; five children, Doris Annette Manno of Richmond, Kentucky, Anita Fain Thompson of Springfield, Ohio, Myra Diane Wise of Bardstown, Kentucky, Vera Annice Prater of Louisville, Kentucky, and Andrew Burnett “Bee” Yaden of Bardstown, Kentucky; two half-brothers, I.B. Whittaker of St. Charles, Virginia, and Boyd Whitaker of London, Kentucky; three half-sisters, Mary Helen Webster of Lexington, Kentucky, Jane Lois Collins of Bedford, Indiana, and Dot Onkst of London, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Babcock officiating.


Burial followed in the Boggs Cemetery at London.
