Dower of Margaret Wood 1828

We the Commissioners appointed by the County Court of Laurel to ascertain & designate the dower right of Margaret Wood Relict of John Wood Dec'd. report as follows, (Viz) Said Margaret Wood shall have 100 acres of Land on the Creek including the Mills & the adjoining improvement & to cross the Creek at the Cider press & include 3 acres for a cite for a house. The land to be run to Suit the convenience of Sd. Margaret without injury to the balance of the Land. Given under our hands this 14th November 1828.
