Georgetta Riggs Sayers

DEATH OF MRS. SAYERS

The death of John D. Sayers, which occurred at her home in Hartwell, was a 
great shock to her many friends and relatives in this city, where she 
formerly lived, only having removed to Hartwell within the last few years.  
Mrs. Sayers was the wife of John D. Sayers, Superintendent of the George F. 
Otte Company of Cincinnati, O., whose friends extend to him their sincere 
sympathy.  Funeral from residence at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning.

Note:  Georgetta Sayers was born in 1848 and was the daughter of William 
Acklin Riggs and Sarah Longmoor of Kenton County.  Her husband, John Durbin 
Sayers (1846 - 1916) was the son of William Sayers and Jemima Theobald.  
Georgetta and John are buried in Highland Cemetery.
