Saturday, September 18, 1852

• Whig Ticket - 1852: William S. Rankin has been appointed by the Whig Central Committee as county Elector for Grant county, in place of Andrew S. Linn, deceased.
  
  
• Kenton Circuit Court, Kentucky: Thomas C. Graves’ Ex’rs., Complaints against Thomas C. Graves’ creditors, & c., Defendants. - In Chancery. This cause being referred to me as Master Commissioner of said Court, Notice is hereby given to all persons having claims against the estate of Thomas C. Graves, deceased, to present them, with proof of the same, to me at my office in Covington, on or before Friday, the 1st day of October, 1852. The Executors are also notified to make full settlement of their executorship, at the same place and during the same time. A. H. Jameson, M. Com’r.
  
• Kenton Circuit Court, Kentucky: Jacob Lemaire’s Adm’x., Complaint against Jacob Lemaire’s Heirs, & c., Defendants. In Chancery. This cause being referred to me as Master Commissioner of said Court, Notice is hereby given to all persons having claims against the estate of Jacob Lemaire, deceased, to present them, with proof of the same, to me at my office in Covington, on or before Friday, the 1st day of October, 1852. The Administratrix is also notified to make full settlement of her administratorship, at the same place and during the same time. A. H. Jameson, M. Com’r.
  
• Kenton Circuit Court, Kentucky: William Hopkins’ Admr., Complaint against William Hopkins’Heirs, & c., Defendants. In Chancery. This cause being referred to me as Master Commissioner of said Court, Notice is hereby given to all persons having claims against the estate of William Hopkins deceased, to present them, with proof of the same, to me at my office in Covington, on or before the 27th day of September, 1852. The Administrator is also notified to make full settlement of his administratorship, at the same place and during the same time. A. H. Jameson, M. Com’r.
  
• Ranaway from the subscriber, living in the city of Lexington on Sunday night last, the 29th of August, a Negro man named ISAAC. He is about 22 or 23 years of age, of black complexion, about 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, thick heavy set, and the whites of his eyes remarkably red or discolored. He is a brick layer by trade, and I purchased him from Evan Lilly a short time since. I will give a reward of $150 for him, if taken out of the State; $50 if taken in any county bordering on the Ohio; $30 if taken in any other county than Fayette, and $20 if taken in Fayette, and delivered to me in Lexington, or secured in jail so I get him.
