• Commissioner's Sale:

  Abner G. Daniel, Defend't } In Chancey
  By virtue of a Decree of the Kenton Circuit Court, rendered at the April Term thereof of 1847, in the above named case, I shall proceed to offer for sale to the highest bidder, at public auction, at the City Hall in Covington, on Saturday the 19the day of June 1847, at 10 o'clock a.m., upon a credit of six months, the following described property, to wit: The wast half of a lot fronting on the Lexington Turnpike, running back to the Bank Lick Street - and bounded west by Craig Street, with a brick tenement thereon, or so much thereof as will sufficient to pay and satisfy the debt, interest and costs in said decree mentioned--the purchaser or purchasers will be required to execute bond, with approval security, for the payment of the purchase monty, to bear interest from date. • Married in Frankfort on the morning of the 18th, by Rev. S. Robinson, Mr. James M. Tapp, Esq., of the Cincinnati Atlas, to Miss Allisonia, daughter of Col. A. H. Rennick, of the former place.
  
• Married in Lexington on Tuesday, the 20th, by Elder Saml Pinkerton, Mr. Chas. F. Coppage, to Miss Maria T. Hickman, eldest daughter of Mr. James L. Hickman, Esq.
  
• Died in Madison County, Kentucky, on the 20th, Mr. James W. Neale, aged 25 years. Mr. N. was a volunteer in Capt. Stone's Company of Mounted Volunteers from Madison County; went with the company to Victoria, Texas; was discharged there on account of protracted and severe illness, and returned home to breathe his last breath in the midst of his relations and friends. He was a Printer by profession and a young man of many good qualities.
  
• Commissioner's Sale of Real Estate-Kenton Circuit Court Kentucky: Helen A. Ludlow, Executrix of the last will and testament of Israel L. Ludlow, deceased, against Israel L. Ludlow's heirs, Devisees and Creditors. In Chancery. By virtue of a decree in the above cause rendered at the late April Term of said Court as Master Commissioner in Chancery, I shall proceed to sell at Public Sale on the premises on Saturday, the 12th day of June next, at 9 o'clock a.m., so much of the Real Estate of said Israel L. Ludlow, deceased, as will be sufficient to pay the sum of $37,000, on a credit of one, two and three years to the highest bidder. The purchaser giving bond and security for the purchase money, bearing interest at the rate of six per center per annum from date. The land is situated on the Ohio River opposite the lower part of the city of Cincinnati, laid off into lots of convenient size for Country seats - plats of which may be seen at my office, at the office of M. M. Benton, as well as many other places in the city of Covington - also in the city of Cincinnati of Messrs. Wright and Graff, Auctioneers, and at Messrs. Brown and McLeas, Third street. The lots are beautifully situated on eminence commanding view of Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport and offer great inducements to persons desiring pleasant seats easy access. The Fifth Street ferry boat lands at the base of some of them, and will take passengers, on that day, ferry free. Should there not be sufficient amount of property sold on that day to satisfy, the sale will be adjourned from time to time until enough shall be disposed of. A. H. • Executors Notice: All persons having claims against the estate of John Bennett, M. D. late deceased, are hereby notified that we the undersigned have been duly qualified as executors of his Last Will and Testament and desire that said claims shall be fully made out according to law and presented for payment, and all those indebted to said Estate, by note or bank account, are respectfully requested to come forward and make immediate payment and settlement of the same.
