Dollie Kirkby (Kelly) sometime in the 1880's. She was born December 25, 1845 in Kentucky (most likely Covington) to Robert Kirkby and Submission 'Jane' Cowan. She married James B. Kelly on December 11, 1871.

William Tucker Kirkby and his son, Robert L. Kirkby. William is the son of Robert Kirkby and Submission Jane Cowan. Robert and Jane were married in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio about 1836. William is found living in Covington in the 1866-67 William's Covington Directory, and in the 1868 and 1869 Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky City Directories, and in the 1876-77 Covington, Kentucky City Directory.

William married first Mary Jane Massey and second Mary Finnerty.

William's son by his first wife, Robert L. Kirkby, was born in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky.
