1st train at Independence Station, L&N Engine #400. Unknown Date. This photo was taken by Samuel Henry Folmer. The Folmers lived on Independence Banklick Station Road from around the 1870's. What remains of this homestead is owned by Doris Wicklund, a descendent of the Folmer family.
