Warren Salyer


    Warren M. Salyer, 56, of Enon, Ohio, died Saturday, December 16, (1992) in Kettering Medical Center. Mr. Salyer was born March 4, 1936 in Paintsville, the son of Ben M. and Virgie McFadden Salyer. He was employed at WPAFB for 37 years and was a member of Xenia VFW #2402 and Enon Eagles #4069. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

    Surviving are his mother, Virgie Gallion, of Dayton, Ohio; his wife, Joanne; one son, Jeff Salyer of Springfield, Ohio; one stepson, Jim George of Xenia, Ohio; three daughters, Jerri Curner, of Springfield, Joy (?) Fisher of South Vienna, Ohio and Valeri Leist of Oklahoma. (also survived by) one sister, Peggy O'Byrant of Dayton; six grandchildren; and locally one uncle, Kelsie McFaddin of Paintsville.

    Funeral services were held Monday, December 18 at Burcham Funeral Home in Fairborn, Ohio, with Revs. H.C. O'Bryant and Bob Mead officiating. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
