She was born March 31 1911 in Johnson County, Ky., to the late Clarence M. and Ella Dixon Wallin. On June 30 1927, she married Leck Steward, who died May 2 1975. Surviving are a son, Frank A. Stewart of Chillicothe, with whom Mrs. Steward lived; sons and daughters-in-laws, Howard and Goldie Stewart of Cleveland; Jack and Lucille Stewart of Strongsville; daughter and son-in-law Joanna and George Brandt of Baltimore, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Pauline Smith and sister and brother-in-law Imogene and Charles Clark, all of Chillicothe, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Lexi was a member of the Baptist Faith.

    Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.14, 2001 in the Ware Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitchell Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly. Friends may call at Ware's from 5-8-p.m. Tuesday.
