Oscar E. Rutledge Julius A. Wendelgas Mrs. Hilary L. Thompson

Oscar E. Rutledge, 51, a foreman for the Raymond Krauth sheet-metal firm at Baxter and Rogers, suffered a heart attack there Tuesday morning and was dead on arrival at a hospital. Rutledge, 2125 Maple, had been ill

since October.  Survivors are his wife, the former Virginia Gordon; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Tyrell, Mitchell, Kentucky, and Mrs. Leona Brooks, Cincinnati, and a brother, Charles Rutledge, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The body will be at Rafterman's, 2114 West Market, after 2 pm Wednesday.

Wendelgas, Mr.Julius A., passed away in his 80th year, Monday, 20 Jun 1960, at 7:45 p.m. at the family residence, 117 Fairview, Jeffersonville, Indiana.   Devoted father of Mr. Joseph Wendelgas.  Mr. Wendelgas is at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St. at Shiller Avenue, where services will be conducted Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, Clarksville, Indiana.  Interment in Eastern Cemetery.

MRS. HILARY L. THOMPSON; AGE 71, died Feb, 08,1960 at 3:00 a.m. She had been ill about a year. Her home was at 3510 N.W. Parkway. She was the former Mary Elizabeth Dant, a native of Marion Co., Ky. and widow of an American Radiator & Standard Sanitary Corporation molder, Hilary L. Thompson, who died five years ago. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. John H. Clausen; and Mrs. William Harrod; five sons; Gilbert J., Hilary W., John N., James R., and Robert L. Thompson, all of Louisville.  Also by two sisters, Mrs.Clevie Cambron, of Lebanon, Ky. Mrs. Pearl Alvey, Louisville, and a brother Mr. Walter Dant of Loretto, 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. The body will be at Ratterman's, 2114 W. Market.

She was born April 03, 1888 in Marion Co. Ky. to James Rowan Dant and Sarah Jane Downs.
