Carlos Napier died of tuberculosis Sunday night at his home in Cawood. He 
was 23 years old and is survived by his wife and child and mother, four 
brothers and a sister. The funeral service was conducted at the home Monday 
afternoon and burial followed in the family cemetery. Mr Napier was a farmer 
an ex-service man. He saw military duty in France during the World War. Since 
his discharge from the army he had been in declining health.
