JOHN S. ARNOLD was born in Woodford County, September 18, 1857, and is
the third son of John W. and Catherine (Garrette) Arnold.  John S. 
Arnold was reared to farming, and was educated at the common schools.  
September 24, 1884, he married Miss Floy Keene, daughter of Dr. R. W. 
and Mary W. (Rowland) Keene, of Woodford County.  Mr. Arnold owns 
158-1/2 acres in Versailles Precinct, and is engaged in farming and 
stock raising.  He is a member of the Christian Church.
