Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 3rd ed., 1886. Warren County. WILLIAM C. BEATTY was born in Tennessee, in 1841, and is the son of Thomas K. Beatty; his parents were natives of Tennessee. William C. was brought up on the farm, receiving an ordinary common school education. He married Miss Elizabeth, daughter of William and Harriett Richardson of Tennessee. They have had six children, as follows: Alice, Manda, infant (deceased), Albert, Zolley and William. Mr. Beatty's father came to this county in 1850, and settled between Glasgow and Bowling Green, where subject lived seven or eight years, and in 1866 settled on the place where he now resides.
