ANDERSON, Warren County, was born February 14, 1850, in Allen County, Ky., and is a son of Mark and Lovie (Lancaster) Anderson, the former a native of Virginia, and the latter of North Carolina. Mark Anderson came to Kentucky in 1802 and settled in Allen County, where he lived until his death in 1868. Mrs. Anderson came to this State with her parents in an early day, and although she has passed her three score and ten years, is still active in body and mind. She makes her home among her children and is at present residing with one in Texas. Subject is the eldest son in a family of five children. He was educated in Warren County, and at Franklin College in Simpson County. He taught school several years in Warren and Simpson Counties, and during the time was married to Amanda W., daughter of Wince Stubblefield, of this County. She bore him one child, Felix G., and then died. Some three years later Mr. Anderson married Elizabeth B., a daughter of James Byrum, of this county. This union has been blessed with three children: J. Cloy, J. Byrum and T. Minor. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Methodist Church, and his wife is a member of the Baptist Church.
