Ward.  Leonard Ward, of Chesterfield died in 1772.  He mentions in his
will his wife Anne, his sister Sarah Walker, brothers Seth, John and
William Ward, sister Ann Ligon and brother Joseph.  In Goode's Virginia
Cousins is an account of the descendants of Beth and Mary Goode Warde. 
Several members moved from Chesterfield and Henrico Counties to Amelia,
and for a number of years their descendants were large land owners there.
William Ward and eprhaps others, moved from Amelia to Kentucky. Virginia
