S. E. STANDROD, physician, was born in Rock Castle, Trigg Co., June 7,
1857, and is a son of D. W. and C. F. Standrod.  S. E. Standrod received
a good education in his native county; he then attended the Nashville and
Vanderbilt University of Medicine, where he will graduate this year.  He
is one of the promising young men of the county, is a devoted member of
the Baptist Church, and bids fair to soon appear among the leading men
of his chosen profession.
