BARKSDALE, Trenton, was born August 22, 1861, in Todd County, Ky., and has always had his home at the present residence. His father, William O. Barksdale, was born in 1818, in Virginia, and removed to Todd County, Ky., with his parents when quite young, where he died in 1870. He was the son of Hudson O., and old Virginian. Subject's mother, Josephine, daughter of William Talley, was born in 1839, in Todd County, Ky., and is still living. To her husband and herself, were born: Fannie M., Annie (Woodson) and William H., who was married May 15, 1883, to Miss Fannie F., daughter of James W. and Mary (Moore) Taylor, of Todd County, and to them has been born one son--Harry Taylor. Mr. Barksdale is a farmer, owning forty acres of good land, which he cultivates in the crops common to this country, and has his homestead in neat and fine condition.
