A History of Kentucky Baptists, From 1769 to 1885, by J. H. Spencer, 1886, Reprinted by Church History and Archives, 1976, Lafayette, TN. Cumberland River Association. Pulaski County. WILLIAM GRAVES of Flat Lick church, if not the oldest, is one of the oldest of the living ministers of Cumberland River Association. He is believed to be a native of Pulaski county, and is now not far from four-score years of age. His preaching gifts are not of a high order; but he is of a warm, zealous temperament, and of a tender pathetic address, and has been a very successful laborer in the missionary field. He was employed by the General Association, some years, and did good service as a mountain missionary. Graves = none http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/pulaski/graves.w.txt
