J. W. WADE, the Twentieth pastor of the Green River Church, served only one
year, from January through December, 1912.  Again, the writer does not
possess much information concerning this Minister.  Most of his ministry
took place in Butler and Warren Counties.  He preached the Annual Sermon
before the Gasper River Baptist Association on four occasions - in 1911,
1914, 1915, and 1922.
